An artist is inspired by society. An artist can inspire society. It's a cycle. Through my art, I strive to challenge societal norms and provoke thought, using my canvas as a platform for dialogue and change.

1. What is the message your art is trying to convey?
I always want people to understand another one’s struggle. I try to convey that message through my multidisciplinary practice
2. When did your creative journey start?
Around 2012-2013 when I was in School, I was interested in digital art and film making. That lead to looking at more and more art and references.
3. Who are your biggest inspirations?

local - Muvindu Binoy
4. What is holding back Sri Lankan creatives?
Mainly the lack of places and people to refer to.
5. Run us through your creative process?
I try to finish any kind of artwork very quickly. So as soon as I get an idea i look at references and styles. Then from the starting point, I experiment with different kinds of tools and approaches. I try to be minimal as much as possible.
6. Why is art important to Sri Lankan society, especially in a time like this?
Art makes you think. And what happens when people start to think?!
7. What will the future of creative expression be like?
Same as today. Same as yesterday. But with different tools! Ideas will always be new. But the way we present them will be different.
8. What is your major goal as an artist?
Currently - Individual multidisciplinary immersive exhibition
9. Do you believe in art collaboration or do you think it affects their individual creative expression?
Yes. By collaborating you get to know new tools and new approaches.
10. What is affective art: pure catharsis or conscious work?
Both?! I mean the art will be vary from person to person. We certainly can’t say one will purely get what we are trying to say. Also not everyone thinks the same. That’s the beauty of art. You gotta do it and see!

இன்னொருவரின் போராட்டத்தை பற்றி மக்கள் புரிந்து கொள்ள வேண்டும் என்று நான் எப்போதும் விரும்புகிறேன். எனவே எனது பல்துறை பயிற்சியின் மூலம் அந்த செய்தியை மக்களுக்கு தெரிவிக்க முயற்சிக்கிறேன்.
2. உங்கள் கலை பயணம் எப்போது ஆரம்பமாகியது?
2012-2013 இல் நான் பாடசாலையில் படிக்கும் போது, டிஜிட்டல் கலை மற்றும் திரைப்படத் தயாரிப்பில் ஆர்வமாக இருந்தேன். அதுவே என்னை மென்மேலும் கலை மற்றும் அதன் குறிப்புகளைப் பற்றி நோக்க தூண்டியது.
3. உங்களின் மிகப்பெரிய உத்வேகங்கள் யார்?
உலகளாவிய ரீதியில் - Beeple Crap
உள்ளூர்வாரியாக - Muvindu Binoy
4. எது இலங்கைப் கலைஞர்களைத் தடுத்து நிறுத்துகிறது?
முக்கியமாக இட பற்றாக்குறை மற்றும் அணுக வேண்டியவர்களின் பற்றாக்குறை.
5. எங்களை உங்களின் கலை செயல்பாட்டிற்குள் எடுத்து செல்லமுடியுமா?
எந்த விதமான கலைப்படைப்புகளையும் மிக விரைவாக முடிக்க முயற்சிப்பேன். எனவே எனக்கு ஒரு யோசனை வந்தவுடன் குறிப்புகள் மற்றும் அதன் பாணியை பார்ப்பேன். ஆரம்ப கட்டத்தில் இருந்து, நான் பல்வேறு வகையான கருவிகள் மற்றும் அணுகுமுறைகளுடன் பரிசோதனை செய்கிறேன். நான் முடிந்தவரை குறைவாக இருக்க முயற்சிக்கிறேன்.
6. இலங்கை சமூகத்திற்கு கலை ஏன் முக்கியமானது, குறிப்பாக இது போன்ற ஒரு காலத்தில்?
கலை உங்களை சிந்திக்க தூண்டும். மக்கள் சிந்திக்க ஆரம்பித்து விட்டால் என்ன நடக்கும்?!
7. கலை வெளிப்பாட்டின் எதிர்காலம் எப்படி இருக்கும்?
சில இன்று போலவே, சில நேற்று போலவே. ஆனால் வெவ்வேறு கருவிகளுடன்! யோசனைகள் எப்போதும் புதியதாக இருக்கும். ஆனால் அவற்றை நாம் முன்வைக்கும் விதத்தை பொருத்து அது வித்தியாசமாக இருக்கும்.
8. கலைஞராகிய உங்களின் முக்கிய குறிக்கோள் என்ன?

9. கலை ஒத்துழைப்பில் உங்களுக்கு நம்பிக்கை உள்ளதா அல்லது அது அவர்களின் தனிப்பட்ட படைப்பு வெளிப்பாட்டைப் பாதிக்கும் என நினைக்கிறீர்களா?
ஆம். ஒத்துழைப்புடன் செயற்படுவதன் மூலம் நீங்கள் புதிய கருவிகள் மற்றும் புதிய அணுகுமுறைகளை அறிந்து கொள்வீர்கள்.
10. பயனுள்ள கலை என்றால் என்ன: தூய உணர்ச்சிபூர்வமான வெளிப்பாடு அல்லது உணர்வுபூர்வமான வேலை?
இரண்டும்?! அதாவது கலை என்பது நபருக்கு நபர் மாறுபடும். நாம் சொல்ல விரும்புவதை மற்றுமொருவர் முழுமையாகப் புரிந்துகொள்வார் என்று நாம் நிச்சயமாகச் சொல்ல முடியாது. மேலும் எல்லோரும் ஒரே மாதிரி நினைப்பதில்லை. அதுதான் கலையின் அழகு. நீங்களும் செய்து பார்க்க வேண்டும்!
